BUY WITH CONFIDENCE-

I was very concerned that paying £25.00 for a decent chef knife it would not be up to the standard of one of the high priced recomended ones at around £60.00 - £200.00 mark.
but wow i have to say i am more than happy with this i have used sabitatia french knifes and they are sharp but this knife puts them to shame
while the french knifes do a great job there is still resistance but with the chefs path its just glides though anything its a joy to use.
i tryed it on leeks and i could cut cut paper thin slices with ease the french knife could never do that.
also i was not looking foward to haveing to buy a wetstone to sharpen it but you can use a good quality knife shapener.
only time will tell if it keeps the Razor sharp edge but according to the instructions and a few you tube vids you only need to sharpen it once a year for normal use twice a year for heavy use.
there are better knifes out there (not by much though) but you would have tp pay at laest £100+ to get one and you would have to use a high quality wetstone at least £100+
for the price this is an outstanding well balanced utra sharp knife.
the only downside to these kind of knifes is you have to wash them by hand and dry them out stright after use (no putting themi in the dishwasher or leaving them in the sink.but its a small price to pay for cutting perfection.

in conclusion this knife is fantastic and at the price its shocking how good it is.

If you cook often and understand the importance of a good knife do yourself a favour and buy it. Looks beautiful, lovely box, feels great and so far performed like a highly professional blade, I have to add I cook everyday. For those saying/thinking it's a shame you can't wash it in the dishwasher be realistic most professional chefs who own very expensive knives wash them by hand always to make sure they keep the blade healthy. As far as I am concerned is a bargain for the price, I have paid much more for much less quality professional knives.

I don’t know much about kitchen utensils but I bought this for the better half who runs a small catering business and I have to say she is absolutely delighted. The knife looks classy and came in an elegant knife box, just touching it made me feel it will last an age. Needless to say, it cut through like butter. Such a beautiful piece of kit. I am already thinking about buying another as a gift.

Giving it is trying to say it's been made somewhere else I was surprised to see it was made in China but even so it looks quite professional, good quality build, let's just hope it lasts now.Wife very happy with it,it's the only one she's using,as a big knife anyway

I have small hands and was worried that it would be too heavy but the weight is fine and it's well balanced. It is comfortable to hold and use. It's very sharp and cuts through meat easily.. I use it for all the tough cutting jobs and it does all these with ease. The knife weighs just under 200 grams or 7oz.

This is a nice knife, very attractive and very sharp. The sheath protects the edge, which is a great idea, but how long it will retain that sharpness only time will tell. They recommend honing the blade, which is promising. First impressions are very good.

Bought this knife a fair while ago, didn't rate it straight away as I wanted to test it properly. It's been decent up until now, holds an edge, works well with most foods. Comes in a lovely case with a polishing cloth to top it. Would buy again, or recommend.

Great knife, good weight. I’m not a chef so don’t know how good it should be but I enjoy slicing vegetables skinnier than usual with it. I’d buy another when this one goes blunt.
